Our client, a leading national retail franchise system is seeking a Vice President of Franchise Operations to drive operational excellence across its network of nearly 2,000 franchise locations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape field operations, support franchise partners, and ensure consistent, scalable performance across the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to field operations, driving execution of brand standards across all locations
- Lead and develop a high-performing Operations team, including Regional Directors, Area Developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with company objectives
- Manage the implementation of complex, long-term initiatives and operational programs
- Support franchisees with performance insights, tools, and accountability structures to enhance results
What You Bring
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a franchise environment, including 3+ years in a senior operations role
- Strong track record of building and leading high-performance teams
- Deep financial acumen and ability to drive unit-level economics
- Exceptional communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven project management leadership and the ability to execute large-scale initiatives

- Experience as the top field operations leader in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Demonstrated success building and scaling field operations with a full talent pipeline
- Direct operations and franchise experience in retail or QSR environments
- Strong personal presence—high drive, balanced demeanor, and objective decision-making
- Experience leading a franchise system of 500+ locations is mandatory
