The Corporate Compliance Officer bridges regulatory bodies and the organization, safeguarding reputation and operational integrity. We seek a leader experienced in guiding complex post-acute healthcare teams and entities, serving as the healthcare privacy expert, and overseeing the Corporate Compliance Program for various facilities and management companies, including not-for-profit entities.
As our Corporate Compliance Officer, you will develop policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in quality and compliance with legal standards, supporting our mission. This position is in person in Hershey, PA.

Responsibilities:
- Report to the CEO and Board on compliance and ethics efforts, providing guidance on reporting and compliance matters.
- Lead risk management and compliance programs, including development of risk assessments and strategic plans to mitigate clinical and business risks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and accreditation agencies, utilizing the OIG’s 7 Elements as a model.
- Identify compliance vulnerabilities, develop corrective actions, and analyze risks and their financial impacts.
- Conduct independent reviews, investigations, and ensure concerns are evaluated and resolved appropriately.
- Assist with insurance policies, claims, certifications, budget planning, and risk minimization in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Chair the Corporate Compliance Council, coordinate audits, and collaborate with leadership.
- Meet routinely with the Compliance, Ethics, and Quality Committee of the Board.
- Ensure adherence to DOH, CGS, and CMS compliance requirements for SNF and hospice oversight.
- Participate in quality assurance, risk management, and training activities, including developing and delivering training content.
- Follow the code of conduct, report violations, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in leading healthcare compliance in post-acute, LTC, or hospice settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, with a focus on compliance best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Clinical Compliance, or related field.
- Understanding of coding, reimbursement, risk management, and performance improvement is advantageous.
- Experience in developing training for a healthcare workforce that operates without desks.
