Job Title: Vice President of Cash Management

About the Opportunity:

We’re partnering with a growing, highly respected Illinois-based community bank looking to add an experienced Vice President of Cash Management to their leadership team.

This role is designed for a strategic, results-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of treasury solutions, deposit growth, and commercial relationship management. You’ll have the opportunity to build and lead cash management initiatives while partnering closely with commercial lenders, business bankers, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the bank’s cash management strategy, driving new client acquisition and expanding treasury product usage across the commercial portfolio.
  2. Partner with Relationship Managers, Commercial Lenders, and Business Bankers to identify and close cash management opportunities.
  3. Serve as the bank’s subject matter expert for treasury solutions, liquidity management, fraud protection, and payment technologies.
  4. Customize product recommendations based on client needs — including ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, merchant services, and fraud mitigation tools.
  5. Manage the full client lifecycle: business development, product presentation, onboarding, training, and ongoing relationship management.
  6. Actively participate in marketing, networking, and COI-building efforts to drive new treasury business.
  7. Provide market feedback to help enhance product offerings and improve the overall cash management client experience.
  8. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Cash Management, Treasury Management, or Commercial Banking.
  2. Deep expertise in treasury services, business banking deposit products, and cash flow management solutions.
  3. Proven ability to drive deposit growth and increase fee-based revenue through proactive cash management strategies.
  4. Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to present complex solutions to business owners, CFOs, and Controllers.
  5. Strong leadership presence — able to work closely with commercial teams and influence across the organization.
  6. Knowledge of treasury management systems, online banking platforms, and fraud prevention tools.
  7. Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent professional experience.
  8. CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is highly valued but not required.
