About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Development & Growth to lead MedHaul’s next phase of scale. This executive will drive revenue strategy, close high-value deals, and expand strategic partnerships across health plans, providers, and/or clinical research sponsors. The VP will report directly to the CEO, sit on the executive team, and have the potential to evolve into a President-level position.
This is a strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused role for an accomplished commercial leader who excels at building teams, driving measurable results, and navigating complex healthcare ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
● Drive Revenue & Market Expansion: Own and accelerate top-line revenue growth by expanding MedHaul’s footprint across new and existing markets, including health systems, payors, and research sponsors.
● Strategic Partnerships: Identify, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and joint ventures with enterprise clients and strategic partners.
● Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, metrics-driven growth team; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and mission alignment.
● Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute scalable go-to-market strategies, including new market entry, channel partnerships, and vertical expansion.
● Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term growth and partnership value.
● Industry Leadership: Represent MedHaul at industry events, conferences, and in thought leadership forums to build brand visibility and credibility.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure seamless client onboarding, high satisfaction, and long-term retention.
● Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage MedHaul’s analytics and reporting capabilities to inform strategy, optimize performance, and demonstrate ROI to clients.
● Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and evolving client needs to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
● 10–15+ years in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership roles within healthcare
● Proven track record of scaling revenue from ~$2M to $20M+ in high-growth environments
● Deep experience with payors, health systems, managed care, and/or clinical research
● Strong deal-making, financial, and negotiation skills, with experience in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
● Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams
● Data-driven, builder mindset—you lead with insight and execute with urgency
● Experience with digital health, NEMT, or healthcare logistics platforms preferred
● Advanced degree (MBA, MPH) a plus
● Willingness to travel 50-75% domestically for client meetings and industry events
● Competitive Compensation Package: Base salary starting at $175–$200K+, with the potential to earn up to an additional $200K in commission and 1% equity. Base salary adjusted based on location and experience.
