Position Summary

Our client is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President to lead enterprise applications, analytics platforms, and enterprise architecture across a complex, regulated, and growth-oriented environment. This executive will drive the vision and execution for scalable, secure, and compliant digital systems supporting core business operations, M&A integration, and enterprise-wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term roadmap for enterprise platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, Workday, and data analytics tools.
• Lead enterprise architecture, application integration, and data governance initiatives across all business units.
• Manage and scale both internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, cost-effective technology solutions.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align IT strategy with overall business objectives and operational needs.
• Ensure systems meet high standards for performance, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA validation), and cybersecurity.
• Oversee relationships with key technology partners, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ensuring value, compliance, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end technology integration for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on system alignment and seamless business operations.
• Cultivate a high-performing IT culture centered on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including 10+ years focused on enterprise systems, data strategy, or architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Industry experience in healthcare, life sciences, or similarly regulated sectors.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (especially in supply chain), data lakes, and validated systems.
• Proven leadership of globally distributed technology teams and development operations.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, data governance, and managing application lifecycles.
• Strong vendor management skills, with experience overseeing MSPs and complex contracts.
• Successful track record of IT integration and transformation in post-merger environments.

• Experience leading global or geographically dispersed teams.
• History of driving digital transformation initiatives in complex organizational settings.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence across business functions.
• Willingness to travel to support business operations and team collaboration.
