Job Summary:
The Vice President of Advancement advances the mission of Cristo Rey Boston High School (CRBHS) by guiding, supporting, evaluating, managing, and working in tandem with the Development Team, Business Development Team (CWS), and Communications.
The Vice President of Advancement is the Chief Fundraising Officer for the school, overseeing the department responsible for generating the majority of the school's annual operating dollars as well as the funding required to build endowment, support special needs/programs and create capital improvements. He or she will identify and cultivate external partnerships and donors associated with the organization's revenue targets and help launch the first capital campaign in CRB's history, RISE.
They are a business partner and advisor to the President in developing and implementing strategies that achieve CRBHS's overall institutional growth objectives and financial sustainability. The Vice President of Advancement will demonstrate a willingness to explore different pathways to corporate, charitable fund, and individual giving, identify opportunities for increasing revenue in the corporate sector, and increase cross-team collaboration with CWSP and Development.
Essential Responsibilities:
Steward the CWS team's effort to sell the work-study program by effectively communicating the mission/business case/ value proposition, answering questions, and overcoming objections. Assist in closing and signing contracts or funding agreements.
Strengthen current partnerships by providing a strategic vision for engagement events and marketing campaign
Cultivate and further develop professional relationships with Trustees, community leaders and senior corporate executives to maximize the relationship across both CWS and Development efforts and leverage the network of job partners to increase fundraising and advocacy for the school in the business and philanthropic communities.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
