About the Role

PSD Citywide is looking for a strategic, growth-focused, technology-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead our Marketing and Business Development functions and help accelerate our next stage of growth.

Reporting to the CRO and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP of Marketing will own the company’s marketing and go-to-market strategy, building a scalable SaaS growth engine that drives brand awareness, qualified pipeline, customer acquisition, expansion, and measurable marketing ROI.

This is an opportunity for an experienced B2B SaaS marketing leader who knows how to leverage technology, data, AI, customer insights, and market intelligence to translate product value and market opportunity into sustainable growth. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a high-growth, private equity-backed technology environment, bringing the pace, accountability, and analytical discipline required to scale the business.

They will strengthen brand awareness, market positioning, reputation, customer engagement, and competitive differentiation while successfully leading product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities. The role will also support the company’s ability to scale efficiently and create measurable enterprise value in partnership with the CRO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board.

What You’ll Do
Strategy & Go-to-Market
  • Own and execute PSD Citywide’s marketing strategy in alignment with company growth and commercial objectives.
  • Develop clear market segmentation, ICPs, buyer personas, customer journeys, and value propositions.
  • Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable growth strategies.
  • Partner with the CRO and executive team on market expansion, customer acquisition, growth opportunities, and marketing investment.
  • Build scalable marketing processes, technology, systems, and operating practices.
Brand & Product Marketing
  • Own PSD Citywide’s brand, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead product marketing for our SaaS platform and modules, translating product capabilities and customer outcomes into compelling market messaging.
  • Oversee content, communications, thought leadership, PR, events, and external marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services on product launches and integrated go-to-market initiatives.
  • Identify new customer segments, markets, partnerships, and channels that expand our addressable market.
Demand Generation & Business Development
  • Build an integrated demand-generation engine across digital, content, social, email, events, partnerships, PR, and other channels.
  • Lead and develop the Business Development function in partnership with the CRO and Sales leadership.
  • Create strong Marketing - Business Development - Sales alignment with clear processes, handoffs, accountability, and performance measures.
  • Establish attribution and analytics that demonstrate Marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Develop customer marketing and advocacy programs that support retention, references, expansion, and growth.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing Marketing and Business Development teams.
  • Build the structure, capabilities, talent, and resources required to support continued growth.
  • Establish clear objectives, accountability, and performance expectations while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop leadership capability and succession across the function.
  • Champion the use of AI, technology, and automation to improve marketing efficiency and impact.
Performance
  • Own the marketing budget and align investment with strategic priorities and expected return.
  • Establish and manage KPIs, dashboards, attribution, and reporting across marketing, pipeline, revenue, brand, and customer performance.
  • Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Monitor key SaaS growth metrics including pipeline, ARR/revenue contribution, conversion, CAC efficiency, and marketing ROI.
  • Provide regular performance updates, business cases, forecasts, and recommendations to the CRO, executive team, and Board.
Executive & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as a strategic marketing advisor to the CRO and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Partner across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to strengthen the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Contribute to enterprise strategy, growth initiatives, organizational priorities, and value-creation opportunities.
  • Represent PSD Citywide with customers, partners, industry leaders, media, and other strategic stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant experience leading teams, budgets, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and executive-level experience.
  • Proven success in a senior marketing leadership role such as VP, Head of Marketing or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience driving measurable pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, brand, or business growth.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS company selling complex technology solutions to enterprise or other public-sector buyers.
  • Experience leading or partnering closely with Business Development, Sales Development, or Revenue Development teams.
  • Strong expertise across go-to-market strategy, demand generation, product marketing, brand, digital marketing, communications, analytics, and customer acquisition.
  • Experience using AI and technology to improve marketing productivity, effectiveness, and scale.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed or similarly performance-driven environment, including exposure to Board reporting, growth plans, operating metrics, and value creation.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect marketing investment to business outcomes.
  • Exceptional executive communication, strategic thinking, collaboration, and people-leadership skills.
