An established industry player is seeking a visionary leader to take on the role of Vice President within their Learning Resource Group. This exciting opportunity involves spearheading innovative content creation practices and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance efficiency and creativity. The successful candidate will lead diverse teams in producing high-quality learning assets and eBooks while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. We are seeking an exceptional and skilled leader to join our organization as the Vice President of the newly formed Learning Resource Group. This pivotal role will bring expertise in modern content creation techniques and practices, including leading this group's efforts to innovate through the latest technologies. The teams’ contributions comprises the work of our content developers (development editors and media editors) envisioning, testing, and creating individual learning assets and executing the development of longer form eBook revisions; our epub production team managing a set of publishing services; our media production team in charge of course delivery, QA, and release management; and permissions & rights. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming our content creation practices, introduce innovative practices including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase creativity, capacity, and efficiency, and develop new agile content creation practices to help content teams create learning resources and assets nimbly and with care. This role manages other employees.

Salary : $175,000 - $225,000 / year
Exemption Status : Exempt
Physical Requirements :
Requires periods of close concentration. Must be able to multi-task.
The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations : Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
Preference is given to candidates located in New York, NY; Boston, MA; Austin, TX.
