This position is fully remote, with a preferred location in Southeast US (GA, FL, NC).

About the Private Client Group - Americas (PCG)

Part of the Investor Relations Team, PCG handles fundraising activities, focusing on private markets solutions for the private wealth market through financial intermediaries such as wire-houses, regional broker-dealers, private banks, multi-family offices, and registered investment advisors. The group manages the distribution of HarbourVest products across the private wealth channels in the US, Canada, and Latin America.

Role Focus

This role involves raising capital in the US Southeast by building relationships with financial advisors across various channels to drive sales and AUM growth in private and registered funds.

Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Proficient in managing schedules and prioritizing high-volume client meetings.
  • A collaborative team player across sales, product, and other functional areas.
  • Highly accountable, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors to promote sales and AUM growth.
  • Develop and execute business plans for territory management, including sales pipeline management.
  • Lead business meetings, follow-up activities, and maintain CRM records.
  • Communicate complex investment capabilities clearly and effectively.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and private wealth platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members and represent the firm professionally.
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of financial investment strategies, including alternative asset classes in private and registered structures.
  • Strong capital markets knowledge.
  • Proven success in asset raising and market presence expansion.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to discuss various products and solutions effectively.
Preferred Education and Certifications
  • Strong academic credentials; CFA or CAIA preferred.
  • SIE, Series 7, Series 63 licenses preferred, with acquisition required upon hire.
Experience
  • 6-12 years of relationship management and sales experience with advisors in the region, with industry trend knowledge.
