Title: Vice President- Institutional Marketing - Private Equity Advisory Firm

Location: New York, NY

Client seeks institutional marketing professionals at the Vice President level to assist in growing our business and building strong relationships with North American investors.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Engagement Execution and Operations: Understand investors’ strategy and portfolio objectives. Responsible for soliciting business and raising capital for alternative investment funds. Keep clients and colleagues informed through oral and written documents. Track, research, and monitor private equity investor needs, allocations, and divestitures.
  2. Business Development and New Client Development: Participate with senior staff in developing new client relationships, including prospect development and attending meetings with Managing Directors.
  3. Firm Development: Support MDs and Directors in developing our platform, maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, networking with industry peers, and helping create new product/service areas.
  4. Create and Maintain Relationships: Build relationships with institutional investors (LPs) in North America with the goal of raising capital for our clients (private equity fund managers - GPs).
  5. Market Insights: Keep up-to-date on private equity market news/trends and regularly communicate with LPs to learn about market insights and their portfolio allocations.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum 7-12 years marketing experience in the financial industry.
  2. Previous experience and relationships with institutional investors (LPs) in North America.
  3. Current knowledge of private equity market news/trends.
  4. Experience communicating with LPs to learn about market insights and their portfolio allocations.
  5. Ability to learn, understand and articulate our client fund offerings/strategies to LPs.
  6. Capability to interact at a high-level with our GP clients.
