Overview

We are currently looking to fill a Vice President, IT position. This position leads both the strategic transformation and daily operational management of all information technology functions supporting Manufacturing operations at Regeneron. This role encompasses dual leadership responsibilities—managing established IT functional areas while simultaneously executing large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global operations sites.

Responsibilities
  • Global IT Leadership: Lead IT functions such as Application Management, Infrastructure, Data, Digital Products, Software Development, Compliance, and Security. Ensure high system performance for manufacturing-critical systems.
  • Strategic Transformation: Coordinate implementation of core systems (MES, LIMS, eQMS, ERP, etc.) while aligning with operational goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure alignment to FDA, cGMP, and global regulations while mitigating IT risks.
  • Corporate Collaboration: Partner with Corporate IT for enterprise alignment while maintaining operations-specific independence.
  • Organizational Development: Build and develop a high-performing global IT team, encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships for seamless system integration.
  • Executive Leadership: Represent IT in Site Management teams and communicate progress to collaborators.
Qualifications
  • Have expertise in manufacturing systems, enterprise applications, and regulatory standards (FDA, cGMP, etc.).
  • Are able to lead global teams, manage dual operational/strategic responsibilities, and drive change initiatives.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 20+ years of relevant experience, biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
