Proven Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Information Systems & Business Applications in a hybrid role based in San Diego.

You will own an IT organization, drive ERP optimization, financial reporting improvements, BI, cybersecurity, and long‑term technology strategy for a global manufacturing operation. This senior leader will partner with Finance, manage cross‑site IT operations, build an embedded team, and shape the future ERP/AI roadmap while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT leadership within manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/D365/Infor/Epicor/IFS or similar).
• Partner with Finance on reporting, analytics, data governance and BI.
• Experience leading executive stakeholders and multi-site tech strategy.

• Lead ERP governance, optimization, and cross‑functional improvements across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR.
• Build reporting, analytics, and data governance for financial visibility and exec reporting.
• Oversee IT operations, security, vendor management, and global end-user support.

Join a growing medical device manufacturing company that supports some of the world's leading healthcare organizations, where you'll play a critical role in driving ERP optimization, financial reporting improvements, business intelligence, cybersecurity, and long‑term technology strategy.

This is a highly visible player/coach leadership opportunity with executive exposure, the ability to build a team, and the chance to shape the future technology roadmap for a global manufacturing operation.

Who you are:

• 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, business systems, or enterprise applications within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ownership of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, D365, Infor, Epicor, IFS, or similar), including implementation, stabilization, or major optimization initiatives.
• Strong background partnering with Finance on reporting, analytics, data governance, and business intelligence programs.
• Experience leading executive stakeholders and driving technology strategy across multi‑site operations.

• Lead ERP governance, optimization, and enhancement initiatives while improving cross‑functional processes across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR.
• Build reporting, analytics, and data governance capabilities to improve financial visibility, operational decision‑making, and executive reporting.
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and end‑user support across global locations.
• Develop and execute the technology roadmap, including future ERP, AI, business intelligence, and cybersecurity initiatives while building and mentoring the IT team.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors, which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $200,000-$240,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
