Job Description

NBCU Local oversees 11 local NBC stations, 28 Telemundo stations, regional sports networks, and related properties, delivering local news, sports, and entertainment across major U.S. markets. The Vice President of Human Resources will provide strategic HR leadership to our Philadelphia operations, including NBC (WCAU), Telemundo (WWSI), and NBC Sports Philadelphia, partnering with senior executives to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead HR initiatives across staffing, performance management, compensation, succession planning, training, and employee engagement.
2. Develop and implement employee relations strategies and collaborate on labor relations, including union negotiations and grievance resolution.
3. Partner with business leaders on growth strategies, organizational design, and change management.
4. Support talent development, career pathways, and leadership coaching.
5. Drive HR process improvements and ensure compliance with policies and employment laws.
6. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and act as an employee advocate.
7. Coordinate with Corporate HR teams on various HR functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of HR experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience in employee and labor relations, ideally supporting unionized workforces.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of HR disciplines, employment laws, and organizational development.
