The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner and key member of the executive leadership team for Plainridge Park Casino. This role is responsible for crafting and executing the talent strategy from attraction through exit, including workforce strategy, talent management, engagement, employee/labor relations, development, and compliance, in alignment with Company values and business objectives.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and Company matters.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with executives, visitors, fellow employees, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient skills in using Microsoft Office products, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Lotus Organizer, and be comfortable searching and retrieving information from the Internet.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
