The Vice President, Global Program Head (GPH) is an enterprise‑level executive responsible for the end‑to‑end strategy, leadership, and delivery of the full portfolio within an assigned disease area, spanning multiple global programs from early development through regulatory approval and lifecycle management. The GPH serves as the strategic owner of the disease‑area portfolio and its assigned assets, driving a forward‑looking, transformative vision grounded in scientific excellence, commercial insight, and patient impact. This role integrates scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial strategy to shape a differentiated portfolio, maximize asset value, and ensure successful progression throughout the product life cycle. The GPH leads multiple complex matrix global program teams (GPTs), anticipates future therapeutic, regulatory, and technological shifts, shapes stakeholder expectations, and ensures alignment across the full research–development–commercial spectrum.
