Archer, in collaboration with BNY, seeks a Vice President, Full-Stack Developer for its Westborough, MA location. You will lead multi-tier application development, design RESTful APIs and microservices, and drive platform reliability with robust CI/CD and monitoring practices.

You will mentor teams, promote engineering excellence, and explore AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while shaping the technical roadmap and strategic decisions for the Fund Accounting and Investor Solutions

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of professional full-stack development experience with backend and frontend.
• Expert-level Java 17+ and Spring/Spring Boot; microservices; REST design.
• Frontend: Angular 14+ or React/JavaScript with modern UI patterns.
• Kafka messaging; unit/integration testing with JUnit/Mockito; code quality tools.
• CI/CD with Git/GitLab; Docker; IaC basics; blue-green/feature flags.
• Observability with logging/metrics; Splunk; NoSQL (MongoDB); data modeling.
• Agile/Scrum, collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Slack); AI-assisted development experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop end-to-end delivery of scalable, multi-tier applications including architecture, design, testing, CI/CD, deployment and production support.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and priorities.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices; ensure performance, reliability, observability and secure coding.
• Improve platform resiliency with runbooks, on-call practices, logging, metrics, tracing and incident response.
• Foster engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, test coverage and release discipline; mentor teammates.
• Integrate AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences and accelerate delivery.
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps; influence patterns for event-driven systems and distributed components.
