BNY in Pittsburgh is seeking a Vice President Full-Stack Engineer to join the Enterprise Compliance team. You will design, develop, and deploy full-stack apps using Java Spring and Angular, collaborating with product owners and analysts.

You will drive code quality, CI/CD, architecture discussions, and help integrate AI while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong security. This is a leadership level role based in Pittsburgh with our culture supporting growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Proven experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot for microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Python scripting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, security, and resiliency practices.
• Experience with GitLab, JUnit, SonarQube, and Splunk.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President Full-Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Compliance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java Spring Framework and Angular.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Support and assist engineering teams, encouraging responsibility, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
• Help with architectural discussions and contribute ideas to improve our technology platforms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management.
• Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values.
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in full-stack software development required.
• Proven experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot for building micro services and RESTful APIs
• Any work experience with python scripting is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (including modern versions), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in Agile methodology including CI/CD, application resiliency and security, as well as developmental toolsets including GitLab, Junit, SonarQube, Splunk
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
