Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a VP, Financial Planning & Analysis - Front Store to provide comprehensive financial support to the +$20B Retail Business. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, close processes and variance analyses while shaping strategic financial goals with senior executives.

Open to remote work with travel as needed, you will mentor a large finance team, drive efficiency through technology, and partner with SVP-level leaders to deliver robust financial insights and optimized store

As the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis - Front Store you will provide comprehensive financial support to the +$20B Retail Business. This role includes leadership over all segment front store sales and margin financial planning and analysis. This position requires exceptional leadership and motivational skills to successfully support the SVP of Retail Field & Store Operations, SVP of Chief Merchandising Officer and various other SVP & VP business leaders, plus several matrix team members in Finance and Operations. Primary responsibilities for this position include helping to set strategic goals, improve organizational effectiveness, and manage financial results. You will lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, monthly close, and detailed variance analysis to support the business.

Additionally, this position will:

• Lead and execute change within the finance organization to support the evolving pharmacy operations
• Acquire talent, mentor team members and build/maintain a high-performance culture
• Develop and engage operations with significant and complex financial analysis that lead to improved productivity and or substantial cost savings

• Assist in the strategic planning process to ensure that reporting meets the company's 5-year strategic plan; act as the key resource in maintaining project financial integrity post completion
• Prepare and present periodic reporting packages to senior management which will be used in decision making
• Set the standard for integrity, accountability, and achieving results

The typical pay range for this role is:

$275,000-$375,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
