A client seeks a visionary, student-centered leader to serve as Vice President for Campus Life. In this senior role, the leader will help shape the residential student experience and influence how the university defines the purposes and possibilities of campus life. The vice president will function as an educator, institutional leader, community builder, and strategist, focusing on how the campus community can best support students and help them develop through their experience.

As a key adviser and partner to university leadership, the Vice President for Campus Life leads a comprehensive portfolio spanning major dimensions of university life that affect students beyond the classroom. The role connects strategy with the realities of campus life, anticipates emerging needs, brings institutional perspective to complex issues, and helps navigate matters that cut across organizational boundaries and impact the community as a whole. The position provides a comprehensive view of the student experience and a platform to advance university-wide priorities.

The Vice President for Campus Life works closely with senior leaders across the institution and represents the student experience in institutional conversations and decision-making. The role leads a large, accomplished organization of more than 650 employees and oversees a broad set of student-facing areas including athletics, health and well-being, undergraduate student life, career development, religious life, diversity and belonging, civic engagement, and the planning and administrative infrastructure that supports the division.
