I’m working on a VP – Homebuilding Finance opportunity with a growing residential real estate investment and finance platform in New York City.

The role focuses on providing capital to homebuilders and residential developers across land acquisition, development, and construction, with significant exposure to residential credit, structured finance, and investment execution.

Key Highlights:

• Homebuilding Finance – Underwrite and execute financing opportunities across land banking, A&D, construction lending, structured lot options, and JV transactions
• Investment & Modeling – Build and manage detailed residential development and financing models, including debt structuring, DCF, sensitivities, and returns
• Market Analysis – Evaluate housing fundamentals, absorption, lot inventory, construction costs, demographics, and home price trends
• Transaction Execution – Work directly with homebuilders, developers, lenders, consultants, legal teams, and capital partners
• Portfolio Management – Monitor project performance, collateral values, construction progress, budgets, and investment returns
• Senior-Level Opportunity – Partner closely with senior management on investment decisions and strategic initiatives

Ideal Background:

6+ years of experience in real estate finance, homebuilding, residential land development, investment banking, capital markets, or builder finance, with strong financial modeling skills.

Compensation:

Up to ~$250k+ base + potential sign-on, RSUs, and discretionary awards.
