Job summary

Fundraise Up is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as the company’s financial architect. You will oversee a team of 8 across Accounting, FP&A, and Strategic Finance, acting as a strategic advisor to bridge data with long-term value creation.

You will drive financial planning, cash management, and scalable infrastructure to support growth beyond $200M in revenue. You will participate as a senior leader shaping geographic expansion, M&A, and product pivots, reporting directly to the CFO

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with leadership in venture/private equity backed environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
• Mastery of US GAAP with deep SaaS metrics and complex financial modeling.
• Experience with consumption-based models and transitioning startup tools to scale-up environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, guiding financial decisions including expansion, M&A, and pivots.
• Lead preparation and presentation of financial narratives for the Board and external investors.
• Transform FP&A into a predictive engine; lead AOP and long-range planning to align with 3–5 year roadmap.
• Collaborate with GTM to optimize growth engine and revenue efficiency.

About The Role

As the VP of Finance, you will serve as the principal financial architect of the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a high-performing team of 8 across Accounting, FP&A, and Strategic Finance. You are not just a manager of numbers, but a strategic advisor who will bridge the gap between operational data and long‑term value creation. You will lead the charge in financial planning, cash management, and scaling our financial infrastructure to support our journey toward $200M+ in revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Act as a key member of the company’s senior leadership team, providing the financial lens for all major business decisions, including geographic expansion, M&A, and product pivots.
• Board & Investor Relations: Lead the preparation and presentation of financial narratives for the Board of Directors and external investors.
• Advanced FP&A & Strategic Modeling: Transform the FP&A function from a reporting shop into a predictive engine. Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long‑range planning (LRP) to ensure alignment with our 3‑5 year roadmap.
• GTM Partnership: Work as a partner to the Executive Leadership Team to optimize the "Growth Engine," analyzing marketing, product, customer, and sales productivity to drive efficient revenue growth.

Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a high‑impact leadership role within a venture‑backed or private equity‑backed environment.
• Proven ability to look beyond the P&L to identify business drivers and risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
• Mastery of US GAAP is required, but must be paired with deep expertise in SaaS metrics and complex financial modeling.
• Experience in consumption based models is highly preferred.
• Experience transitioning a company from "startup" tools (Quickbooks/Mosaic) to "scale‑up" environments (NetSuite, Campfire, or similar).
• A track record of mentoring directors and managers, fostering a culture of high accountability and continuous improvement.
