Vice President of Estimating | Heavy Civil Infrastructure
Lead the estimating function and shape the company's growth alongside the CEO.
About the Opportunity
A fast-growing heavy civil and water infrastructure contractor is seeking a Vice President of Estimating to lead its estimating department in Dallas.
The business delivers a diverse portfolio across Texas for both public agencies and private clients. Its work spans highways and roads, bridges, underground utilities, lift stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants. Recent work includes major interstate improvements, bridge rehabilitation and expansion, and municipal water treatment facilities.
With a strong backlog, a solid financial foundation and continued growth across every market it serves, the company is looking for an executive-level estimating leader who can sharpen bid strategy and help drive the next phase of expansion. You'll report directly to the CEO.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Executive Influence: You'll work directly alongside the CEO, with genuine influence over bid strategy, project selection and the long-term direction of the business.
- Leadership Impact: You'll own and build the estimating function, leading and developing a team of Estimators as the company scales.
- Exceptional Earning Potential: Bonus potential of up to 60% of base salary, with a real commitment to rewarding top performers.
- Diverse, High-Impact Work: You'll lead pursuits across highway, bridge, utility and water/wastewater markets, so the work is never one-dimensional.
- Entrepreneurial Culture: Unlike larger firms, decision-making is fast, leaders have a real voice, and the company actively invests in its people.
- Stability & Growth: You'll join a contractor with a strong backlog, sound financials and a clear growth trajectory.
