Qualifications

• 5-7 years of engineering leadership experience, including managing other managers.
• 15+ years in software engineering with distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of shipping software with AI tools in the last 12 months.
• Experience building and running multi-tenant B2B SaaS products at scale.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones.

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This leader will own engineering execution for a lean, high-impact organization, turning strategy into clear operating plans and measurable outcomes. The role is deeply hands-on and will balance technical leadership with day-to-day problem solving across code, architecture, debugging, and tooling. A key focus will be integrating AI-assisted development practices into the engineering workflow while maintaining strong standards for quality, reliability, and incident response.

This position also partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate technical decisions into business impact. The ideal candidate will help shape a modern engineering organization that values speed, depth, and thoughtful automation.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $220,000 – $260,000 annually
