The VP ofEmpower Advisory Group (EAG) Product Developmentis responsible for setting the long-term vision and product roadmap to develop the firm ’s advice product offerings in close collaboration with the SVP of Empower Advisory Group . This role oversees the development and continuous evolution of managed account solutions, ensuring alignment across the enterprise and with corporate business objectives . You will lead through evolving markets, abstract ideas , and complex business challenges to shape innovative advice and investment solutions / experiences that enhance partner and c ustomer outcomes while driving economic value for the firm. T he role influences key stakeholders across multiple business areas, ensuring the firm’ s advice solutions are differentiated, scalable, and positioned for long-term success.

What you will do:

Strategic Leadership & Business Impact

  • Oversee and direct the long-term vision, strategy, and design of advice solutions

  • Serve as the executive product owner , working with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure alignment on vision , strategy , and deployment

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to assess product performance, cost efficiency, and long-term viability

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation by aligning investment strategies with industry requirements

  • Champion the use of customer data and behavioral insights to share a forward -looking product vision that delivers hyper-personalized, outcome-driven advisory solutions aligned with Empower's commitment to improving participant financial well-being

Product Management & Execution

  • Responsible for the development and de sign of investment solutions, ensuring they meet market needs, drive profitability, an d increase customer adoption and outcomes

  • Develop and execute business plans with clear revenue strategies, and cost-efficiency initiatives to optimize product economics

  • Leadership of th e advice product development and management team , fostering agile development capabilities and robust product owner mindset

  • Oversight of partners and vendor relationships pertinent to the managed account business

  • Collaborate across the business to ensure resources and capital are properly deployed to support managed account initiatives

Create Market Impact

  • Lead the assessment of the competitive landscape , identifying opportunities to improve competitive positioning and financial outcomes

  • Serves as a thought leader in industry forums and client-facing events, positioning the firm as an innovator in managed accounts

  • Work in partnership with Product Deployment to bring new capabilities to life with market-facing teams

What you will bring:

  • 10-12+ years of experience in investment product management, advice, managed accounts, or a related wealth management function

  • Expertise in digital investment platforms, retirement investment solutions , and advisory models

  • Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and provide guidance to senior leadership

  • Strong financial acumen, with a track record of managing P&L, optimizing product economics, and influencing resource allocation

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • FINRA Series 65 license required within established timelines

  • FINRA Fingerprinting

What will set you apart:

  • MBA, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), or advanced degree preferred

  • Proven ability to work with abstract ideas, assess complex industry dynamics, and develop high-impact strategies

  • Experience managing multiple functional areas, driving cross-business collaboration, and leading strategic initiatives

Base Salary Range

$163,700.00 - $237,350.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
