ADP is seeking a Vice President, Digital Commerce & Growth.

ADP is redefining the future of small business payroll and HR technology. As the market leader serving more than 900,000 small business clients, ADP is building a next-generation AI-native platform designed to transform how small businesses discover, evaluate, purchase, and implement workforce solutions. This transformation requires a fundamentally new go-to-market model centered on digital commerce, customer-led buying experiences, and scalable demand generation. This executive leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, digital strategy, and full P&L performance of the company’s business-to-business online ordering ecosystem.

We are seeking a highly strategic and data-driven executive to own and scale our B2B digital commerce engine. In this role, you will lead the evolution of our platform into a seamless, self-service "click-to-purchase" experience designed to lower the cost of sale and increase purchase frequency. You will be responsible for the full digital customer journey—from acquisition and on-boarding to checkout and retention—ensuring that corporate accounts can buy with the speed of a consumer (B2C) experience while respecting complex B2B business logic (tiered pricing, credit limits, contract terms.)

Reporting to the CMO, this individual will lead a cross-functional transformation focused on increasing digital acquisition, improving conversion efficiency, reducing customer acquisition costs, and creating a world-class buying experience that meets consumer-grade standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• P&L and Revenue Ownership: Own financial performance, operating budgets, and monetization strategies for digital and platform channels.
• Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Drive pricing, packaging, and commercialization strategies across SaaS and fintech offerings.
• Customer Journey Optimization: Scale digital experiences to reduce user friction across products like QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Mailchimp.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead large-scale matrixed teams spanning product marketing, design, and data analytics.

Strategic Leadership & P&L Management

• Own the digital P&L for the B2B ecommerce business, optimizing top-line revenue, conversion rates, and gross margins.
• Define the long-term vision for the "click-to-purchase" channel, actively migrating traditional accounts to digital self-service workflows.
• Develop actionable revenue roadmaps and accurate forecasts for executive leadership and the board

Digital Platform & Checkout Optimization

• Oversee platform functionality and UI/UX design to remove friction from the corporate checkout and cart experience.
• Implement automated B2B features including instant credit approvals, corporate user-permission management, customized digital pricing catalogs, and automated invoicing.
• Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives using data analytics, UX testing, and user feedback to maximize transaction volume.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration

• Partner with Field Sales to ensure the ecommerce platform complements and supports account managers rather than competing with them.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering to ensure seamless ERP, CRM, and product information management integrations.
• Align with Marketing and Supply Chain on product information accuracy, performance marketing spend, and fulfillment service level agreements (SLAs).

Team & Vendor Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performing digital team spanning site merchandising, product management, and data analytics.
• Manage third-party technology providers, payment gateway partners, and web development agencies to ensure secure, scalable platform operation.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Deep fluency in enterprise B2B ecommerce architecture (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento/Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or SAP Hybris).
• Strong understanding of modern web architectures (composable/MACH frameworks) and integration protocols with ERPs (like Oracle).
• Expertise in business analytics tools (such as Google Analytics 4, PowerBI, or Tableau) to track core digital metrics like LTV, CAC, AOV, and customer churn.

Leadership Attributes

• Superior communication capabilities with an ability to justify digital capital expenses and report metrics clearly to C-level executives.
• An analytical, problem-solving mindset that relies on continuous data experimentation and behavioral mapping.

Qualifications (Required)

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across digital commerce, growth marketing, ecommerce, product marketing, or go-to-market strategy.
• Proven executive leadership experience scaling customer acquisition and digital growth businesses.
• Demonstrated success building and optimizing end-to-end digital commerce and purchasing experiences.
• Deep expertise in customer journey design, revenue growth, conversion optimization, and performance marketing.
  Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex organizations.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with a track record of driving measurable business results.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior executive stakeholders.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
