Job summary

U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) seeks a senior adviser to lead the Office of Development Policy (ODP) as part of the CEO's executive staff. Job description

This position is located in the Office of Development Policy (ODP) at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), and serves as a member of the Chief Executive Officer's executive staff and as a key consultant and adviser to the Chief Policy Officer. You'll manage DFC's ODP with responsibility for establishing policies & procedures for carrying out DFC statutory review of the Environmental & Social (E&S) Impact, the U.S. effects, and the Development Impact (DI) of DFC projects.

You may qualify at the SL-00 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:

Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience related to this position. This experience must be at or above the GS-15 grade level or equivalent.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Specialized experience for this position is defined as:

  1. Experience providing effective leadership and supervision to subordinates in a multi-tiered organization; AND
  2. Experience providing expert guidance on environmental and social risk assessments of international projects/investments; OR
  3. Experience providing expert guidance on the analysis of projected and actual development impacts of international development, international impact investing, and/or international finance projects.
