Goldman Sachs seeks an experienced attorney based in New York or Washington, D.C. to support U.S. consumer deposits and electronic payments from an in-house regulatory perspective.

The role requires advising on legal, regulatory, contractual and transactional matters and coordinating with business, compliance and risk teams. The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctor and active U.S. admission with 5+ years of experience in law firms or in-house at a financial institution, with deep knowledge of

Formación

• Legal expertise in U.S. deposit and electronic payments law and regulation (Reg E, Reg DD, Reg CC, FDIC, UDAAP).
• Experience advising on electronic payment systems (Nacha, wire transfer, RTP, card networks) and related disputes.
• Ability to translate complex statutory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and risk-aware, pragmatic advice.

Responsabilidades

• Advising stakeholders on U.S. consumer deposits electronic payments, interfaces, products, services and controls.
• Providing comprehensive legal, regulatory, contractual and transactional support to deposit-taking businesses.
• Managing the firm’s U.S. bank subsidiary in understanding and meeting legal obligations.
• Drafting and maintaining agreements, disclosures, and documentation for deposit and electronic payment products.
