Job summary

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal leadership and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and data management, with the ability to engage stakeholders on complex technical concepts and generate insights.

  • Monitor industry trends and share reports and analyses with senior stakeholders and the broader team

Join a team modernizing data management and governance at a leading global financial institution. You will help shape how the firm unlocks value from data by making it AI-ready—enabling better insights, stronger risk management, and scalable innovation. This role offers high-visibility work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will influence strategy, operating models, and execution across critical data initiatives.

As a Vice President in Data Management Strategy within the Firmwide Chief Data Office, you will define and articulate a comprehensive data strategy that describes how the firm will unlock value from data by making it AI-ready. You will lead strategic initiatives to develop actionable business plans for implementing standards, adopting operating models, developing products and platforms, building a data-first culture, and driving governance. Initiatives include data products, metadata strategy, and data publishing.

This role is critical to the modernization of the firm’s data management and governance practices. You will provide thought leadership and partner with senior leaders across lines of business and corporate functions. You will also help the team communicate strategy through clear narratives, analysis, and executive-ready materials.
