Vice President, Corporate Communications

Quantum Space is redefining mobility and maneuverability in space. Our high-mobility spacecraft platforms support national security, civil, and commercial missions with unmatched flexibility and propulsion capability. We build fast and iterate quickly.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a strategic, highly accomplished, and mission-focused Vice President or Senior Director of Corporate Communications to lead and execute integrated communications strategies that elevate Quantum Space's brand, strengthen its reputation, and support our continued growth in the aerospace and defense industry.

Reporting to the Chief of Marketing and Strategic Communications, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping how Quantum Space communicates its mission, capabilities, and strategic priorities to customers, investors, government stakeholders, employees, and the broader aerospace and defense community.

You will work at the intersection of corporate strategy, marketing, business development, engineering, government relations, and executive leadership—translating complex technical capabilities and business objectives into clear, compelling narratives that reinforce our competitive differentiation and market position.

You will play a critical role in building and scaling a high-performing corporate communications function, leading media relations, executive communications, brand positioning, employee engagement, and digital storytelling. This position is ideal for a communications leader who combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, thrives in a fast‑paced and highly technical environment, and is energized by the opportunity to help shape the voice and reputation of a growing space technology company.

Where You'll Make an Impact

Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communications strategies aligned with Quantum Space's business objectives, growth priorities, and long‑term vision

Lead proactive media relations, corporate announcements, reputation management, crisis communications, and issues management to strengthen the company's position in the aerospace and defense sectors

Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leadership, providing counsel on corporate positioning, executive visibility, sensitive announcements, and high‑impact communications initiatives

Implement and maintain a cohesive corporate brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and positioning across all internal and external communications channels

Partner with the Chief of Marketing and Strategic Communications to execute integrated marketing and communications initiatives that increase brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, and support business growth

Develop compelling corporate narratives that communicate Quantum Space's mission, technical capabilities, competitive differentiation, and strategic value to government, commercial, investor, and industry audiences

Lead executive communications, including speeches, presentations, thought leadership, media engagements, corporate messaging, and strategic announcements

Develop and oversee internal communications strategies that strengthen employee engagement, organizational alignment, and company culture during periods of growth and transformation

Direct corporate digital communications, including website content, social media, editorial strategy, digital storytelling, and online brand presence

Establish editorial standards, content calendars, performance metrics, and communications processes that ensure consistency, quality, and measurable engagement

Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Government Relations, and program leadership to coordinate communications supporting major program milestones, product capabilities, customer engagements, and strategic announcements

Oversee communications supporting corporate developments, strategic partnerships, investor engagement, organizational changes, and other business‑critical initiatives

Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing communications team while managing external public relations agencies, creative partners, and other communications resources

Establish scalable communications processes, operating standards, and performance measurement frameworks that support organizational growth and operational efficiency

Identify and implement innovative communications technologies, digital platforms, analytics, and AI‑enabled tools to improve effectiveness, reach, and productivity

Partner with Legal, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Engineering, and executive leadership to ensure communications are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with applicable regulatory, disclosure, and export control requirements

Help establish a disciplined, proactive, and results‑driven communications function that enables Quantum Space to move quickly while protecting corporate reputation, brand integrity, and stakeholder trust
