The Ares Corporate Communications team is seeking an experienced writer, editor and content strategist with experience in journalism, content strategy and video production. The Communications team is responsible for strategic planning and execution of external, internal and digital communications efforts across Ares’ global platform. Within Ares, the team works closely with a range of internal partners, including senior leadership, investment professionals, legal and compliance. This is a high-energy and committed team that values colleagues who are strategic and entrepreneurial thinkers, problem solvers and intellectually curious, as well as have high professional standards. The Vice President of Content will be responsible for creating thought provoking, timely and digestible content (articles, newsletters, videos and other media) to support Ares’ global thought leadership platform. The Vice President of Content will play a pivotal role in raising Ares’ profile as a thought leader in the alternatives industry. This individual will partner with teams and leadership across the firm to identify timely and relevant research and insights that can be shared to—and translated for—a broad external audience. This team member will support the editorial and creative strategy to bring these insights to life in a way that engages clients (across both institutional and wealth channels), shareholders, recruits and the general public.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$210,000 - $230,000
