Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking an executive Vice President of Construction to lead end-to-end delivery of development projects. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Acquisitions, Engineering, and Finance to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and business alignment across regions.

You will direct planning through handoff, establish standards, manage CAPEX, and optimize costs with cross-functional teams while delivering high-value, mission-critical infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale, mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience delivering high-value construction projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong experience managing large CAPEX programs and complex contractor relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.

About the role

The Vice President of Construction is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Prime Data Centers’ development projects, overseeing all phases from planning and design through commissioning and handoff to operations. This executive leader partners closely with Sales, Operations, Acquisitions, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

What you’ll do

Construction Leadership

• Lead construction delivery across all phases including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Oversee construction operations across multiple regions and concurrent projects.
• Drive schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance across the project portfolio.
• Establish and implement construction standards, processes, and best practices.

Team Management

• Build, lead, and develop high-performing construction and project management teams.
• Manage resource allocation and project workloads across multiple business units.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Operational Oversight

• Own CAPEX budgets, forecasting, financial controls, and reporting.
• Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining operational sustainability.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage contractor, consultant, and vendor relationships.

Compliance & Risk Management

Qualifications

Required
