Qualifications

  • 10+ years of previous compliance, legal, or audit experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Demonstrated history of effective relationships with regulatory bodies preferred.

Job Details

The Vice President, Compliance will lead AnewHealth’s compliance, privacy and risk functions, creating a strong culture of compliance focused on development and implementation of enterprise-wide compliance, privacy, and risk processes across all lines of business.

The Vice President, Compliance is responsible for managing AnewHealth’s company-wide compliance efforts to create a consistent, scalable compliance and risk mitigation program. This individual will drive a centralized program across all service lines and functions of compliance and risk including policies, procedures, training; audit and investigations; pharmacy licensure and regulatory compliance; transactional compliance support and analysis; and execution of risk-based controls that support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize AnewHealth’s Compliance program, to ensure compliant business practices through pragmatic, effective guidance.
  • Identify compliance risks and implement monitoring and risk mitigation processes for same.
  • With the assistance of the company’s Legal or HR Departments as warranted, investigate, or manage the investigation of, compliance incidents reported through the company’s Compliance hotline or otherwise.
  • Manage the Compliance team, providing leadership and career development opportunities as appropriate.
  • Assess Medicaid/Medicare regulations and guidelines and provide related guidance to business teams.
  • Communicate and render actionable advice to business teams in response to legislative and regulatory changes affecting the company’s lines of business.
  • Manage and maintain all required Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and other licensure or certification for all AnewHealth pharmacies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between AnewHealth and Boards of pharmacy and other regulatory agencies with oversight of AnewHealth’s pharmacy operations and as the individual responsible for effective and professional responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Oversee Compliance training program to ensure that all employees receive mandatory and other compliance-related knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability or risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for mitigation of risk factors; and provide practical guidance on same.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in required.
