ProAmpac seeks a senior leader to align commercial ambition with operational execution through SIOP/IBP and Commercial Excellence. You will lead cross‑functional teams to unify demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning, delivering stronger margins, service, and cash performance.
Reporting to Finance and Commercial leadership, you will shape enterprise processes and tooling, develop teams, and drive a data‑driven planning culture across multiple sites.
ProAmpac is seeking a senior leader who can connect commercial ambition with operational execution—and translate both into stronger margins, service, and cash performance.
As Vice President of Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & Commercial Excellence, you will lead an enterprise transformation: bringing demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning together through common processes, trusted data, and clear accountability.
Following multiple acquisitions, ProAmpac is aligning planning and commercial capabilities across its businesses. You will help shape that future—building teams, implementing enterprise tools, and equipping leaders to make better decisions about customers, products, capacity, and profitability.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Commercial Excellence & SIOP, you will partner with business leaders and executives across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
This role offers the opportunity to build capabilities with lasting enterprise impact, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
Establish and continuously improve the monthly SIOP/IBP cycle, connecting portfolio, demand, supply, and financial reviews with executive decisions. Bring forward clear scenarios, risks, and trade‑offs across a rolling 3–18‑month horizon, supported by effective governance and decision rights.
Build a consensus demand planning team that combines statistical forecasting with commercial intelligence. Partner with Operations and Procurement to anticipate capacity and material constraints, inform capital investment and production network decisions, and balance customer service with working capital and obsolescence risk.
Lead the design and deployment of ProAmpac’s Pocket Margin Database (PMDB), enabling consistent profitability analysis by product, customer, and market. Guide a 12–18‑month build program across sites, establishing trusted source data, sound cost allocations, and common governance.
Work with commercial and plant leaders to identify cost leakage, address low‑margin business, improve customer and product mix, and deliver measurable financial benefits. Partner with Pricing and Sales to embed profitability insights into quoting, negotiations, and portfolio decisions, and with the VP of Sales Enablement to strengthen commercial processes and key account planning.
Link planning and commercial actions to rolling forecasts, revenue, margin, working capital, and cash flow. Give executive leadership a clear view of performance, emerging gaps, and recommended actions.
Lead and develop demand planning and Commercial Excellence teams, including three Commercial Excellence Directors. Shape the planning and analytics technology roadmap, lead an enterprise planning system implementation, and bring data from multiple ERP platforms into a common view of performance.
You are a process architect and a change leader who can build credibility with executives, commercial teams, and plant leaders. You combine analytical depth with practical judgment and know how to turn cross‑functional agreement into sustained action.
Your experience includes:
12+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, supply chain, demand/supply planning, or operations, including 5+ years leading SIOP/IBP, plant or division controlling, or commercial finance .
7+ years of people leadership , including managing managers and leading cross‑functional or multisite teams.
A demonstrated record of transforming SIOP/IBP processes and/or building profitability, cost‑to‑serve, or pocket margin capabilities that deliver measurable manufacturing margin improvement.
Strong financial acumen, including operational links to P&L, working capital, and cash flow, plus a deep understanding of material, labor, overhead, and cost allocation.
Hands‑on experience with advanced planning systems, ERP platforms, data analytics, visualization, and advanced spreadsheet tools.
Executive communication skills and the ability to influence decisions, resolve competing priorities, and drive adoption across business units.
