Title and salary commensurate with experience.**Essential Responsibilities:*** Identifies, engages, and develops new markets and expand lending opportunities.* Builds relationships, working within the prescribed framework of bank policies and procedures, to offer flexible and competitive financial solutions including business loans, lines of credit, SBA loans, deposits, and other business products.* Gathers vital business, financial, and personal background information from potential borrowers.* Reviews loan requests, credit history, and financial statements to perform a detailed analysis to determine whether proposed applications meet lending criteria.* Prepares proposed credit memos, including recommendations for loan pricing and terms, and receives concurrence from the credit approving officer/s prior to proceeding with in-depth client negotiations.* Monitors loan portfolio, communicating directly with borrowers, to ensure that all required financial exhibit due dates are monitored and received from customers in a timely manner.* Maintains the credit quality of their individual portfolio within bank standards and guidelines; promptly surfaces all risk issues uncovered over the course of managing the portfolio.* Actively participates in the local and business community at large.## Qualifications**Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:*** Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred* Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial banking* Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
