Overview

Job Title: Vice President, Commercial Banker - Leasing

Location: Remote Wisconsin

What you'll do

As a Vice President, you'll be responsible for executing the division's strategic plan in its efforts to meet the Bank's annual growth and customer retention targets. Leasing product expertise and the ability to coach Relationship Managers and their customers across the bank will determine success. You will work with Portfolio Management staff to resolve issues or facility refinancing for existing customers. The focus of the role is to support ongoing sales efforts to new and existing customers as a product specialist, structure and advise clients on various lease structures, and determine credit worthiness of potential prospects.

  • Lead individual sales efforts to grow the Leasing portfolio, supporting bank-wide sales teams, monitoring portfolio health, and managing market dynamics.
  • Understand transaction pitch parameters and negotiate term sheets; facilitate the credit structuring development process, customer assessment, and presentation to senior and divisional loan committees.
  • Foster strong, healthy relationships with partner departments and contribute to compliance with technical processes, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Manage the team\'s outside network of referral sources, vendors, and appraisers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 7 years of Lending and/or Deposit Sales, Credit Administration or other related financial services experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring, pricing dynamics, and market-specific awareness
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
  • Travel to prospects and Regional Sales teams expected, primarily in our Southwest footprint
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $160,000.00 - $193,456.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
