Position Overview

The Vice President of Client Solutions is an executive team leader responsible for driving the strategy, development, and delivery of PMAMC’s value added client products and services within the Workers' Compensation and Casualty lines of business. This role includes direct leadership of PMAMC’s Client Account Management team and acts as a cross-functional connector, partnering closely with Claims, Managed Care, IT, Legal, and Shared Services to align internal capabilities with client needs and business goals.

This role demands a dynamic, strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of leading innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Product and Service Strategy

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of new and existing products and services to enhance PMAMC’s market position and customer value proposition.
  • Ensure all offerings are financially viable by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning aligned to business goals.
  • Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.

Client Account Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight and mentorship to the Client Account Management team, building a culture of performance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and proactively identify opportunities through a consultative approach to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

Claims and Managed Care Collaboration

  • Serve as the strategic liaison to Claims and Managed Care operations, aligning existing and new services with company standards, regulatory requirements, and cost-containment goals.
  • Partner to resolve operational issues, drive innovation, and improve efficiency in service delivery.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

  • Work closely with PMA’s Legal team to oversee contracts, employment matters, and in-house counsel functions.
  • Ensure all products, services, and internal practices adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Technology & Shared Services Integration

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Client Solutions team and IT/Shared Services to support system integration and infrastructure for scalable growth.
  • Advocate for client-centric technology enhancements and ensure successful implementation across departments.

Financial Oversight

  • Own the financial strategy for all product initiatives, including profitability analysis, risk assessment, and strategic investment planning.
  • Monitor market and operational trends to guide adjustments that maximize value creation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • REQUIRED: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation and Casualty, with a focus on product development, claims, managed care, or legal oversight.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership position managing cross-functional teams required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching innovative solutions in regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and their role in operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead across functions.
