About This Role

We are looking for an experienced Vice President, Client Development to join our team of account executives in supporting one of our largest healthcare clients. This role focuses on delivering strategic solutions for Care Delivery initiatives, namely transformational projects aimed at improving care quality, reducing costs, and enhancing patient experience and outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with our client’s clinical and executive leadership to develop and implement innovative, patient-centered, evidence-based care models.

What You Will Work On

  • Lead Strategic Growth: Own and drive high-impact strategic pursuits, leveraging the full breadth of RGP’s capabilities, tools, and teams to deliver client value and accelerate business growth.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key client stakeholders. Serve as a strategic advisor to expand account penetration and ensure long-term partnership success.
  • Expand Client Engagements: Proactively pursue opportunities to deepen and broaden relationships within existing accounts, identifying new areas for RGP to deliver value.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Be the expert on RGP’s business model, value proposition, and risk management approach. Clearly communicate how RGP solutions address specific client needs and business challenges.
  • Coach and Develop Teams: Provide leadership and guidance to consultants and account team members on lead generation, opportunity identification, and effective use of RGP resources to drive results.
  • Drive Collaboration Across Functions: Promote cross-functional teamwork to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions and foster continuous improvement in our client offerings.
  • Oversee Account Delivery: In collaboration with Talent and Delivery Management, monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and identify new business opportunities across assigned accounts.
  • Achieve Key Metrics: Deliver results against defined KPIs and performance metrics aligned with enterprise and regional goals.
  • Lead Account Planning: Support and execute strategic account planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts to align with RGP’s broader objectives.
  • Enable Enterprise Integration: Champion the implementation of enterprise and cross-functional initiatives across the account portfolio, ensuring consistent execution of best practices.
  • Contribute to Innovation: Share insights from client engagements to support RGP’s thought leadership, marketing collateral, and case studies. Identify emerging trends that can inform future offerings and business strategy.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years leadership experience in healthcare operations, clinical management or similar role. Helpful, but not necessary experience in Pharmacy, Lab, Telehealth, Behavioral Health. Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, regulatory environments, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams and drive change in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with healthcare data analysis and performance management systems.
  • Proven experience building accounts and lasting strategic account relationships.
  • Experience selling professional services within large accounts preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability in influencing buying decisions across an enterprise and within several different functional areas.
  • Proven success in creating revenue and managing accounts.
  • Strong capacity for networking and generating lasting business relationships.

What You Can Expect

  • All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Base Pay Range: $143,000 - $179,000.
  • Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation.
