Job title: Vice President, Chief of Staff
Location: Houston, United States | Madison, United States | New York - Home Office, United States
Workplace Type: Remote
Octave is looking for a Vice President, Chief of Staff to work closely with and advise the Chief Executive Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will help turn Octave’s priorities into clear plans and results.
Octave Intelligence, plc (Octave) is a publicly traded enterprise software company that spun out from Hexagon AB in May 2026. With a global management team, Octave is registered in Ireland and dual-listed on Nasdaq in the United States and Nasdaq Stockholm. The company has approximately $1.6 billion in annual revenue, 8,000 employees across 46 countries, and customers in 140 countries. Its mission-critical solutions help organizations design, build, operate, and protect critical assets, infrastructure, and people.
This is a senior leadership role, not an administrative position. The Chief of Staff will work across the company to keep leaders aligned, help decisions get made, and make sure important work moves forward. This person will also set their own agenda around the CEO’s priorities—spotting issues early, knowing what needs the CEO’s attention, and taking action without waiting to be asked. We are looking for someone who has held a similar role in a global SaaS business and knows how to get things done. They should have strong business judgment, be willing to do the detailed work, and be comfortable offering a different point of view while building trust with the leadership team.
