BD Lakes region in Franklin Lakes, NJ is seeking a strategic VP to lead Transformation & Technology Strategy. You will guide enterprise transformation, partner with Commercial leadership, and scale AI‑driven capabilities to drive growth.

Reporting to the EVP & CIDO, the role requires building engineering capacity, governing major programs, and delivering measurable value across AI, analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise strategy, transformation, technology, digital, or portfolio management within a complex global organization.
• Bold, action‑biased, and able to present with executive presence and ownership.
• Proven record of converting strategy into action and delivering measurable growth, productivity, customer, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Strong business acumen with working knowledge of AI, data and analytics, automation, enterprise platforms, architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Experience leading cross‑functional transformation, portfolio governance, investment prioritization, product operating models, and agile delivery.

Vice President, Business Partner Transformation & Technology Strategy

Position Summary

Leads the enterprise transformation and technology agenda and be the strategic business partner to the Commercial organization. Proven track record of building and scaling strong in-house engineering teams that create differentiated capabilities and drive business growth.

Reporting to: EVP & Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO)

Key Responsibilities

• Technology engineering
  • Proven record in enterprises of building and scaling of technology engineering teams based on open source technologies.
  • Modern AI-led SDLC that create productivity at individual, team and department levels
  • Strong ability to integrate with core systems with both velocity and stability
  • Set the enterprise AI and long‑term IT strategies, aligning priorities, investments, and roadmaps to BD’s growth agenda.
• Business transformation partner, including Commercial team working with our Chief Revenue Officer
  • Strong business engagement
  • Strategic solution design that simplifies and clarifies
  • Value realization to deliver impact
• Major programs and portfolio management
  • Track record of delivering major transformations and enterprise programs
  • Manages complex portfolios via simplification and focus
  • Organizes and delivers change management

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise strategy, transformation, technology, digital, or portfolio management within a complex global organization.
• Key traits: Bold and action‑biased, drives pace, articulate with executive presence and presentation skillsand strong ownership and outcome orientation
• Proven record of converting strategy into action and delivering measurable growth, productivity, customer, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and working knowledge of AI, data and analytics, automation, enterprise platforms, architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Experience leading cross‑functional transformation, portfolio governance, investment prioritization, product operating models, agile delivery, and risk management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field required; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. Relevant transformation, product, agile, lean, change, or program leadership credentials are advantageous.

Location: This role will be based in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

In‑office at BD is four days per week (Monday‑Thurs). Relocation assistance may be provided.
