Vice President, Brand Partnerships and Philanthropy

This is a fully remote position.

Role
The Vice President of Brand Partnerships and Philanthropy drives and influences the achievement of annual fundraising targets while contributing to the organization's financial resilience and long-term growth, fostering a strong brand partnerships and philanthropy culture. Excellence will be achieved by creating and delivering a partnership and philanthropy strategy to achieve revenue goals, develop and manage impactful relationships, maintain a dynamic network of contacts, and stay informed about industry trends.

Responsibilities

Direct Report Management

  • Lead your team to achieve results in a mission-aligned way.
  • Set thoughtful and reliable revenue forecasts.
  • Provide consistent and actionable performance feedback based on clear, impact-focused goals.
  • Develop a high performing fundraising philosophy.
  • Deliver ambitious growth in annual and recurring revenue.
  • Responsible for recruiting top talent across these functions.

Brand Partnership Leadership

  • Develop a multi-year, global revenue strategy, grounded in data insights and high-impact resource utilization.
  • Evaluate and refine processes to identify and cultivate revenue partnerships that align with business objectives, enhance efficiency, expand market reach, and improve service offerings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans and initiatives to maximize brand partnership benefits.
  • Lead negotiations of new, large scale brand partnership agreements.

Philanthropy Leadership

  • Steward strategy development that expands and strengthens the fundraising pipeline through intentional corporate and philanthropic partnerships and professional networks.
  • Oversee and support the creation of compelling proposals, detailed grants, and donor reports.
  • Align organization objectives with grant and funding opportunities by collaborating with service delivery teams.

Partnership and Philanthropy Stewardship

  • Develop domestic and global donor stewardship plans to sustain engagement and increase future contributions.
  • Leverage and optimize use of sales and grant management and communications tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo).
  • Explore and implement creative collaboration opportunities with partners/donors that align with org strengths and goals.
  • Define performance expectations and provide ongoing support to ensure compliance with contractual terms and optimize brand partnership results.
  • Drive improvement of cross-functional processes for more efficient and successful grant applications and stewardship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in brand partnerships, philanthropy, and partnership management.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading a large fundraising function of $50-100 million annually.
  • Proven ability to lead major gifts, sponsorships, and large grant awards ($5-10 million).
  • Experience leading a team across global partnership and donor markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of grants and sales management tools.
  • Expected travel 30-45%.

Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.

The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $170,016 - $200,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
