Overview :

The Treasury team operates across the firms three business divisions—Investment Banking, Retail Brokerage, and Investment Management—managing liquidity, funding, and regulatory requirements. This role sits within the Asset Liability Management (ALM) function, which focuses on interest rate risk, balance sheet strategy, and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).

We are seeking a Vice President to lead ALM and Balance Sheet Management for the U.S. region . This is a unique opportunity to own and build out the ALM / BSM function locally , working closely with the Global ALM team while leveraging an established global framework. The role will report with a dotted line to the U.S. Treasurer , who will provide local support, but the VP will be the primary U.S. subject matter expert for ALM and will play a pivotal role in shaping a Chief Investment Office (CIO)-like program for the U.S. entity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the U.S. application and development of the global FTP framework
• Provide strategic recommendations to ensure FTP accurately reflects liquidity, funding, and interest rate risks
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align FTP methodologies with business objectives and regulatory expectations
• Analyze liquidity, funding costs, and behavioral assumptions to calibrate FTP charges across businesses
• Collaborate with global teams to influence model enhancements and system upgrades
• Manage governance, documentation, and control processes related to FTP
• Serve as a key point of contact for business lines and control partners regarding FTP methodology and impact

Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) & Balance Sheet Management :

• Own and manage U.S. IRRBB metrics including EVE and NII analysis
• Execute stress testing and scenario analysis
• Drive behavioral modeling for deposits and lending
• Maintain and monitor risk limits; support U.S. ALCO reporting and strategic decision-making
• Translate analytics into actionable insights for senior Treasury and Finance leadership

Strategic Build-Out :

• Build and scale the ALM / BSM function in the U.S. in alignment with global policies and regulatory expectations
• Establish a CIO-like program to optimize balance sheet strategy, interest rate positioning, and liquidity deployment
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Risk, and global Treasury counterparts to design and implement new tools and reporting solutions
• Act as a local lead and subject matter expert in discussions with regulators, internal committees, and senior management

Technical & Analytical Tools :

• Develop SQL queries and Alteryx workflows for data analysis and reporting
• Automate reporting processes and ensure data integrity
• Contribute to model documentation and support validation processes
