Job description

Consello is an Advisory and Investing Platform with offices in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Dublin, Belfast, London, Brussels, and Abu Dhabi. Consello's distinct advisory practices provide the complete strategic counsel today's leaders need to grow and transform their organizations. Consello's advisory expertise spans Corporate Advisory; M&A; Management Consulting; Talent; Risk; and Sports and Entertainment. Dedicated teams operate in each practice, led by a leadership group with deep operational experience across industries, business growth stages and market cycles and with an expansive set of global corporate relationships.

Consello's investment business, Consello Capital, identifies high-potential mid-market companies and invests capital and expertise to transform their growth.

Position Overview

Consello is hiring a Vice President, AI Enablement to operate as an embedded coach-builder: part of the AI team and closely partnered with a focused group of senior advisors and practice leaders. Working from live client deliverables, the role will learn how these professionals work, co-create personalized AI-enabled workflows, and build their confidence and capability to use, challenge, and adapt those workflows over time.

What proves valuable at the individual level will be translated into reusable workflows, shared practices, and product capabilities that benefit teams across the firm.

AI is reshaping and accelerating the delivery of high-value advisory work—not only how quickly it is produced, but how effectively professionals develop ideas, apply judgment, and deliver insight. Our ambition is not to automate advice or diminish accountability. It is to give exceptional professionals new ways to think, build, and work at a higher level.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines the instincts of a practitioner, coach, and operator. The Vice President will work across the advisory practices and internal operations, while partnering closely with AI Product and Engineering to turn practitioner needs into scalable capabilities.

Ultimately, success is measured in the work clients receive sharper insight, stronger preparation, greater responsiveness, and more time devoted to the judgment that distinguishes exceptional advisors.

What the Role Owns
AI Enablement, Activation & Change
  • Own the firm-wide approach to AI enablement, including training, activation, coaching, communications, and sustained behavior change.
  • Assess the needs and capability of each practice and develop learning pathways from foundational fluency through advanced workflow creation.
  • Lead practice-specific working sessions and coach senior leaders and teams using real deliverables, priorities, and constraints.
  • Develop practical playbooks and materials that help professionals apply AI confidently and responsibly.
  • Embed with practices to redesign priority workflows, co-create solutions with the people who own the work, and turn proven approaches—including their judgment and quality standards—into reusable firm capabilities.
  • Help teams identify where AI can improve quality, speed, or consistency and build their ability to use, adapt, and, where appropriate, create workflows independently within approved controls.
  • Curate a firm-wide library of proven skills, agents, and workflows that are easy to find, apply, and reuse.
  • Prioritize enablement work based on expected value, feasibility, practice readiness, and required effort.
Adoption, Measurement & Product Feedback
  • Own monthly reporting on firm-wide AI adoption, depth of use, practitioner capability, workflow reuse, and evidence of value.
  • Use data and practitioner feedback diagnostically to identify momentum, concentrations of use, and barriers to progress.
  • Represent the practitioner voice in AI planning, translating recurring needs and quality issues into clear product and engineering requirements when a scalable capability or guardrail is needed.
Quality, Governance & Confidentiality
  • Partner with business and practice leaders, who remain accountable for their teams’ work, to determine how AI can help people meet or exceed their standards.
  • Help teams use AI critically, verify important claims, apply judgment, and remain accountable for the final work; incorporate recurring quality issues into future training and shared practices.
  • Partner with AI Architecture, Legal, and Compliance to translate approved policies into practical guidance and reinforce the appropriate handling of confidential and market-sensitive information.
Qualifications Required
  • 6–10+ years of relevant experience gained through consulting, transformation, applied AI, or an operating role, with direct experience implementing change alongside business teams
  • A record of personally building and deploying AI workflows that colleagues adopted and continued to use
  • Demonstrated practitioner-level enablement experience—training, coaching, and building alongside users in ways that changed how work was performed, not simply introduced a new tool.
  • Credibility with senior professionals and excellent communication skills: able to hold a room of managing directors, respond constructively to challenge, and translate between business needs and technical capabilities. Commercial judgment, sound prioritization, builder/founder mindset, comfort with accelerated pace, and discretion in relationship-driven environments involving confidential or market-sensitive information.
  • Experience working in or directly serving financial services, with a practical understanding of how senior advisors, analysts, bankers, or investors work.
Preferred
  • Equity research, investor relations, or another analytically and communications-intensive financial services background.
  • Prior ownership of AI enablement or an AI center of excellence at a relevant firm (ideally financial or professional services firm).
  • Value creation or operational improvement experience in private equity portfolio companies
