Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance, the newly created position of Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller will provide executive leadership of the accounting functions for all of UMass Memorial Health. This role will develop, implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures that adhere to internal policies and generally accepted accounting principles. As a shared service center for the organization, this position will ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to support the strategic initiatives of the organization. In addition, this position will be actively engaged and leading our ongoing process improvement initiatives. This position is accountable for system-wide accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, revenue finance, and payroll.
