Overview
A well-established and growing agricultural equipment manufacturer is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President & General Manager to lead a global business division focused on innovative solutions for modern livestock production operations.
This executive leader will drive both short- and long-term business growth while overseeing operations, sales alignment, product strategy, customer relationships, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of operational leadership, strategic vision, financial acumen, and relationship-building skills within a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute division-wide strategic initiatives aligned with company growth objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and industry leaders
- Lead organizational planning efforts that support long-term profitability and market expansion
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the business
Business Development
- Identify new product and market opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams on growth initiatives
- Develop global market strategies that strengthen competitive positioning
- Evaluate and approve capital investment opportunities aligned with business objectives
Operational Leadership
- Oversee operational performance related to quality, delivery, cost, and innovation
- Establish and monitor KPIs and business performance metrics
- Ensure alignment between operations and sales forecasts
- Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance
- Analyze operational and financial data to support business decisions
- Partner with leadership teams to drive profitability and sustainable growth
- Ensure responsible resource allocation and cost management
- Mentor and develop high-performing leadership teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and integrity

Qualifications
Education
- MBA preferred in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree with strong leadership experience will also be considered
Experience
- 7+ years of progressive senior leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, agriculture equipment, or related industries
- Experience leading through dealer/distributor networks strongly preferred
- Background in international business operations and strategic growth initiatives highly valued
