Qualifications

• Banking experience, preferably 3–5 years in a management capacity.
• Knowledge of loan products, mortgage procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
• Current BSA Compliance Specialist (BSACS) certification or ability to obtain within 9 months.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Lending: manage the loan origination process from application to closing.
• Provide excellent customer service on loan applications.
• Develop new secondary market mortgage line of business.
• Compliance: manage Bank Secrecy Act program and regulatory requirements.
• Operations: oversee teller functions and related duties.
• Review and update policies and procedures with staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated individual to assist in all aspects of the lending, compliance, and operations functions of the bank. Duties of the Vice President include: all facets of residential mortgage and consumer lending (application, underwriting, processing and closing); manage the bank's compliance and audit program, including the Bank's Secrecy Act (BSA) program and related regulatory requirements; and oversee the operations/teller functions of the bank . The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and technical abilities, good interpersonal skills, well organized with an attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of Bank operations, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

• Lending
• Provide excellent customer service to customers on the completion of loan applications

Requirements:

• Previous Banking Experience, preferably 3-5 years in a management capacity
• Knowledge of loan products, mortgage procedures, and underwriting guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
• Current BSA Compliance Specialist (BSACS) certification or equivalent or ability to acquire certification within 9 months of hire
