Opportunity Highlights
  • Quality Improvement Leadership Design, implement, and lead quality improvement initiatives across the Department of Medicine for both inpatient and ambulatory care.
  • Council and Committee Management Chair the Department of Medicine Quality Council and the Peer Review Committee, overseeing case reviews, OPPE, and FPPE.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or an Internal Medicine subspecialty with significant leadership experience in healthcare quality and safety, a proven track record of implementing successful quality improvement initiatives and the desire to be a part of a dynamic, high-functioning team. This role combines clinical, administrative and academic responsibilities with the flexibility to shape the role based on the individual candidate.

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and/or an Internal Medicine subspecialty.
Experience
  • A minimum of three years of experience after completing residency or fellowship.
  • Preferred experience in quality improvement with a strong record of publications and presentations.

  • Proven ability to initiate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials as an Attending Physician at HUMC.
Salary

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $282,759. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package.
