Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Hewitt, NJ is seeking BC/BE Cardiologist to join our expanding health system. You will provide consultative services, evaluation and management of inpatients and outpatients at Hackensack University Medical Center and ambulatory clinics in Hewitt.

The role features cardiovascular imaging and collaboration across a large academic health network with opportunities for faculty appointments and teaching. 100% clinical position with emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Completion of a Cardiology fellowship (3 years).
• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
• Board certification/eligibility in Echo.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations, non-invasive testing, evaluation and management in ambulatory clinical locations.
• Round on inpatient units at HUMC with consultative services as required.
• Cardiology coverage for the ETC as scheduled.
• Participate in echo and EKG reading panels as needed.
• Participate in stress testing hospital coverage.
• Educate cardiology fellows as requested.
• Supervise clinical work of Advanced Practice Nurse when present in office practice.
• Contribute to patient experience and continuity of care.
• Join a network of physicians and staff with strong clinical support.

• This physician will have the opportunity to supervise the clinical work of the Advanced Practice Nurse if present in office practice
