Job summary

You will build and lead funded research programs, mentor junior faculty and trainees, and guide educational initiatives across settings. The appointment includes a NEOMED faculty appointment and a startup package.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of independent and collaborative research experience.
• Proven track record of funding and senior authorship in high impact journals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and academic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent, funded research program.
• Serve as Principal Investigator or Co-PI on multisite projects.
• Build interdisciplinary research teams and mentor researchers.
• Design and oversee studies, data management, and QA.
• Identify funding opportunities; submit grants and manuscripts.
• Disseminate findings through publications and presentations.
• Provide strategic and administrative oversight for the Service Line.
• Coordinate budgeting with post-award teams and external partners.
