Vibratory Feeder Bowl Builder – Fabricator - Welder

United Toolers of Illinois (UTI), located in Loves Park, IL, specializes in building high-quality vibratory and rotary feeder systems.

Position Overview:

As a Bowl Builder/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling vibratory and rotary feeder machines for the automation industry. You will use various fabricating equipment for cutting, fitting, and welding workpieces to ensure proper orientation of plastic or metal components at specified speeds. Prior experience in building and fabricating vibratory and rotary feeder machines is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Fabricate and assemble vibratory and rotary feeder machines
2. Locate and mark bending and cutting lines on workpieces
3. Perform TIG welding, bending, shearing, and forming of metals including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
4. Set up and operate fabricating equipment such as brakes, rolls, shears, mills, and drill presses
5. Set up welding equipment, weld workpieces manually to feeders, and inspect welds for quality and standards
6. Test, troubleshoot, and modify feeder bowls to meet performance specifications

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in building/fabricating vibratory and rotary feeders
• Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel
• Basic machine shop experience is advantageous
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record
