Job summary

Upcoresolutions is seeking a Reliability Vibration Technician for a life sciences client in Rahway, NJ. You will apply vibration analysis and infrared thermography to diagnose complex equipment issues and drive proactive maintenance strategies.

This role demands deep technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to failure prevention. You will mentor junior analysts and contribute to long-term reliability programs within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• ISO vibration certification (I–IV) required; Category III/IV preferred; I/II considered with 10–15 years PM/vibration experience.
• IR thermography certification (Level I–III) preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vibration analysis on rotating equipment (motors, pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes).
• Conduct infrared thermographic inspections across electrical, mechanical, and process systems.
• Diagnose complex failure modes and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead and support RCFA and implement failure-elimination strategies.
• Develop and refine PdM, CBM, and RCM programs.
• Partner with engineering and operations on capital projects and reliability improvements.
• Mentor junior analysts and support reliability training initiatives.
